Ashley was a graduate of Ashford High School. He loved life and impacted many lives along the way. Our shining star has left his earthly home and gone to live with Jesus in Heaven. He was much loved and will live in our hearts forever.
Ashley’s hobbies included fishing, singing with his friends at church, leading the choir, John Wayne movies, watching ballgames, working outside, amusement parks, McDonalds, and country and gospel music. He loved going to school at Vaughn-Blumberg and working at the John Conti workshop. Most of all, he loved everyone he met.
Ashley is survived by his parents, Lenard and Billie Sue Greathouse; his brothers, Ricky (Teresa) Greathouse, Stanley (Barbara) Greathouse; nieces and nephews, Keisha (Wesley) Blythe, Amanda (Ty) Hughes, Amber (Adam) Marshall, and Clay (Carly) Greathouse; great-nieces and nephews, Bryce, Grant, Carter, Lily, Gabe and Marlee; and several aunts and uncles.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Vaughn-Blumberg Center, The Cullpepper Home, SAMC 2 East, and Signature Nursing Home for taking such good care of Ashley during his illness.
Flowers will be accepted or the family requests that contributions be made to Cloverdale Baptist Church.
