Betty Ann Phillips

Betty Ann Phillips of Dothan passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at her residence. She was 73.

Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Providence Baptist Church with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 P.M. Sunday, June 10, 2018.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and great-grandmother. She would do for others before doing for herself. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a thirst for knowledge and was fearless in taking on new opportunities when working. She retired and became the caregiver for her granddaughter. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking for her family. The simple pleasures in life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Joe Phillips, daughter Cheryl Lynn Phillips; mother, Ethel B. Davis, father, Clifford C. Davis, and brother Robert Loyal Davis.

Survivors include daughter Angela McCathern, and husband Arvin McCathern, Jr., grandchildren Whitney Ealy and husband Jerrold Ealy; Bethany Culver and husband Eric Culver; Timothy Dudley, great-grandchildren Josslyn Ealy and Ezekiel Culver, and sister Linda Davis.

Pallbearers will be Whitney Ealy, Bethany Culver, Timothy Dudley, Jerrold Ealy, Eric Culver and Arvin W. McCathern, Jr.
