Corey James Dunn

Corey James Dunn, of Ashford, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. He was 52.

Born May 21, 1966 in Dade County, Florida, Corey owned Corey Dunn Plastering. He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, and dirt track racing. He will be remembered for his love of helping people, his one of a kind personality, and his crazy sense of humor.

Corey is preceded in death by his parents, William Loy and Joyce Ritchey Loy; his brother, Richie Bennett; his sister Vickie Dunn; his grandmother, Kay Ritchey; and his second wife, Becky Dunn.

Corey is survived by his wife, Darlene Dunn; his children, Nicole Deacon (Michael), Corey Dunn (Alicia), Dustin Hughes, Daniel Watson (Sarah), Jordan Watson (Shannon), Karlie Farmer, Jolie Farmer, Kalie Farmer, and Michael Brasseal (Amanda); his grandchildren, Christopher, Dawson, Colson, Raeleigh, Jameson, Ayden, Kyndal, and Gage; his sister, Lori Stewart; mother of his children, Kathy Dunn; special cousins, George and Casey Moody; and his best friend, Ralph Beck (Stacy); a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 PM, Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11303 E State Highway 52, Webb, AL  36376.
