Danny Aris Mixon

Mr. Danny Aris Mixon, 76, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019. He was born May 2, 1942 to Aris and Dorothy Buntin Mixon.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM, Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Danny graduated from Marion Military Institute and attended the University of Alabama afterwards. He was a retired farmer who also worked in the peanut industry for thirty years.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Aris; his mother, Dorothy; and his sister, Jo Ann Mixon Pate.

Danny is survived by his wife, Anita Keeffe Mixon; his sons, Andrew Clay Mixon (Paula) and Michael Benton Petty; his daughter Anna Kay Holland; his granddaughter, Anna Mixon Smith (Jackson); his grandsons, Travis Clay Mixon and Shelden Clay Mixon; and many more friends and relatives.
