Donnell Avery

Mr. Donnell Avery, age 84, of Ashford passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Graceville, Florida.

Born February 14, 1934 in Malone, Florida. He was the son of Molly Belle Avery and raised by Sesh Granger. He attended Cowarts Baptist Church and enjoyed attending the sporting events of his children and grandchildren. He loved livestock, including goats, sheep, horses, cows and catfish and he enjoyed gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Yvonne Avery; his daughter, Kathy Avery Moulton; his brothers and a sister.

Survivors include his son, Phillip Don Avery (Diane); his grandchildren, Tye Avery, Alec Avery, and Cole Moulton; his son-in-law, Bobby Moulton; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Seale officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until 10 AM, one hour prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Tye Avery, Alec Avery, Bobby Moulton, Larry Askew, Bob Mumford, and Royce Conrad.
