May 19, 1937 ~ November 21, 2017 (age 80) 80 Years OldMrs. Evelyn Hall Creel Busby, age 80, of Rehobeth, passed away November 21, 2017 at her residence.
Born May 19, 1937 in Geneva County, the daughter of the late T E Hall and Ollie V Moss Hall, Mrs. Busby was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed creating rock gardens. She also enjoyed fishing, baking, and playing the guitar. Mrs. Busby was also a golfer and enjoyed bowling. What she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family, her children, and grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as Mema.
She was preceded in death by her brother and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Jan (Jimmy) Taylor; her son, Steve (Sharon) Creel; her grandchildren, Jesse (Brittany) Taylor, Jonah (Kimberly) Taylor, Kaitlyn Creel, and Devin Creel; her great-grandchildren, Tucker Taylor, Kelsie Campbell, and Weston Taylor; her step-mother, Juanita Hall; her sisters, Lottie (Bob) Capps and Madge (Frank) Deeter; her step-daughter, Brenda Harper; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and a very special companion, Smokey.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, November 24, 2017 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Jim Tate officiating. Pallbearers will be family members.
The family will be accepting flowers. The family would like to thank the staff of Camellia Hospice Care and her sitter, Mary who took wonderful care of her.
