Mr. Jack Morris, 84, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Saturday February 25, 2017, at Hospice of the Golden Isles, Brunswick.
Jack was born October 5, 1932 in Hagan, GA. and lived in Dothan for many years. He was the son of the late Marcus Evans Morris and the late Elizabeth Pearl Graham Morris.
He served his country with honor during the Korean War in the United States Navy. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and the United Nation Service Medal.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: C.W., Junior, Austell, and Carl; two sisters: Sue and Lawana.
He is survived by three daughters: Melora Drury (Jimmy) of Brunswick, GA; Starla Dingler of Macon, GA; and Tami Howard of Eugene, OR; three granddaughters, two grandsons, two great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life to honor Jack was held on Mar. 1, 2017 in Brunswick, GA.
A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Memory Hill. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
