Jane Foy Obituary

Jane Loring Foy, 84, died peacefully on February 5, 2019 in Dothan, Alabama.

Jane was born January 13, 1935 in Eufaula, Alabama to Robert Edward Foy and Ruth Newton Foy. She attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, before transferring to Auburn University where she was a Kappa Delta. After graduation, she worked and lived in several places before returning to Dothan.

Jane was a member of Daughters of American Revolution and Houston County Republican Women, and she attended the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. She is survived by nieces and a nephew; Frances Strickland (Shelly), Elizabeth Foy, Edward Robert Foy (Robin) and nine great nieces and nephews. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edward and Ruth; and her brother, Dr. Robert Edward Foy.

Revered Peter Wong, of The Church of the Nativity, officiated a family graveside service at Memory Hill Cemetery.
