Jewell C. (Quattlebaum) Tidwell

Jewell  C. Tidwell, 100, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 20, 2019. She was born on September 18, 1918 in Coffee County to the late Amon Quattlebaum and Cathrin Quattlebaum (Tarver).

Funeral Service 2 PM, Monday, April 22, 2019 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to service, with burial to follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.

Jewell was a loving mother and an awesome grandmother whom loved her family dearly. Jewell was a great homemaker and cared deeply for others.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Chester J. Tidwell, brother: J.C. Quattlebaum, daughter: Sarah Tidwell.

Survived by her daughter: Virginia Wood and son-in-law: Jim Wood, four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren, and a niece.
