Oscar H. Freeman, Sr., 95, of Dothan passed away February 27, 2018.

Mr. Freeman was born October 18, 1922 in Ashford, Al. He was a WWII veteran and served 30 years in the Navy. He is believed to be the last survivor of the USS Yorktown.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Freeman; son, Howard Freeman; grandson, Christopher Granberry and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 10:30 A.M., a half hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant Hospice.
