Phyllis Patricia Dantzer

Lt. Col. (ret) Laurence L. and Phyllis P. Dantzer passed away March 8, 2014 in Ashford, AL. He was 91 years old. She was 88. They were married 68 years, originally from Michigan and moved to Ashford 15 years ago. He is retired military, last stationed at Fort Rucker as Commander of the aviation school. He is also retired from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. He continued to love flying and computers. She was a stay at home mother and active member of her Church attending Sunday School and Bible study, most recently Ashford First United Methodist Church. They both loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed southern way of life. They are survived by their daughter Linda and son in law, Major (ret) Charles Waller of Ashford. Grandsons are Brian Waller of Auburn, AL and Dr. Mark and Tiffany Waller of Huntsville, AL. Great grandchildren are Jacob, Caroline, Luke and Elijah Waller. A celebration of their life will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2014. The family will receive friends and family members at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O.
