Robert C. Kemp

Robert C. Kemp, 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was born on December 6, 1933 in Dale County to the late Captain Kemp and Malessie Kemp (Blocker).

Funeral Service 2 PM, Monday, May 13, 2019 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service, burial to follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.

Robert was a loving father and family man. He served in the US Army. Robert  worked and retired as a meat cutter for many years at Piggly Wiggly and Winn-Dixie Grocery Stores. He was a faithful member and deacon at Southside Baptist Church. In his earlier years he was a member of the Dothan Civitan Club.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Pat Kemp and  siblings.

Survivors include his son: Tony (Jane) Kemp and several nieces, nephews, and loving family members.

Family will gather on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 117 Massee Drive, Dothan, AL. from 12 PM until 6 PM.
