Troy Hood Obituary

Mr. Troy Hood of Dothan passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. He was 79.

Mr. Hood was the former owner of the Dothan Hearing Aid Center and he retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service. He was known for taking his therapy dog Roxie to the retirement centers and nursing homes around the area. He was also a Mustang enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife Jeannie Hood, sons Dennis Hood (Sheila), Brian Hood (Christie), mother Rosell Hannah, grandchildren Zacheria Hood, Wesley Williams, Aliesha Collins, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mr. Hood’s wishes was to be cremated and to have a sea scattering.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
