Velva "Donna" (Hart) Locklear

Velva LaDonna Locklear, 68, passed away on September 29, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Donna will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. at 935 Squirrel Drive in Newton, Alabama.

Donna was born on July 24, 1950; the daughter of Ralph and Ruby (Futch) Hart. She was a part of the graduating class of 1968 from Suwannee High School. She was a woman to be known to speak her mind and was loved by everyone who knew her. In her free time, she would read romance novels, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards with her family and talking on the phone. She loved watching baseball, basketball and Auburn Football.

Left to cherish Donna’s memories are her children, Shane Selph, of Jasper, FL, Dana (David) Boyd, of Nederland, TX and Angela (Norven) Shultz, of Newton, AL. Grandchildren: Stephen, Michael, Rebecca, and David Selph, Shanna and Dixie Worley, Amanda, Elisa, and Dustin Shultz and sister Christine Hart.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Vera Smith.
