Mrs. Allene Virginia Phillips, age 92, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Born September 21, 1930 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Doster Hayes and Myra Price Hayes, Virginia retired as a supervisor from Kmart, originally starting work with the company W T Grant.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her brother, Gene McLendon who passed just one day before her.
Virginia is survived by her son, Johnnie Phillips; her sister, Vivian Brockway; her brothers, Bobby Price Hayes and Forrest McLendon, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
