Angela Denise Hayes Wallace, a resident of Dothan, Alabama died Sunday, April 12, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family following a courageous three year struggle with cancer. She was 61.
Memorialization will be by cremation and her cremated remains will be scattered in the ocean at her request.
Angela was born October 4, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised and lived most of her life in Franklin, Tennessee. She had a love for the outdoors and animals, but she will be remembered for her servant’s heart and helping anyone she could. Along with a servant’s heart, Angela was a Christian and spoke often of where she would spend eternity in Heaven with her Saviour. For the last five years she was dedicated to the care and well-being of her mother.
Angela is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hayes.
Survivors include her mother, Deanna Hayes; daughter, Cheyenne Self and her husband, Justin; a sister, Lesleigh Hayes and her husband, Tony and her special fur baby, Sophie.
The family wishes to thank Southern Care Hospice and their team for the love, care and compassion they have shown during this time. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Southern Care Hospice.
