Anita Rae Christmas

Anita Rae Christmas, 48, of Kinsey, Alabama passed quietly on the morning of November 18, 2019 in her home with family at her side.

Anita was born in Dothan, Alabama on July 9, 1971.  She was one of three daughters born to Larry and Verdina (Donat) Christmas. Her early years were spent residing in Medina, North Dakota.  She returned to Alabama as a teenager where she attended and graduated from Ashford High School.

She enjoyed various activities including reading, horseback riding, and time spent with family and friends.   Upon becoming a mother in 1994, she devoted her life and love to raising her three children. 

Anita is survived by her son, Steven A. Toole; her daughters Megan L. Toole and Kacey C. Toole; her grandsons Sebastian W. C. Toole and Landyn J. Glover; her mother Verdina R. Christmas; her sisters Stepheny A. Roberts and Melody A. Shepherd; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry W. Christmas.

Celebration of Life will take place at 3 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home in Dothan, Alabama with a visitation one hour prior to service.
