Upon retirement, she moved back to Gordon, Alabama to help take care of her Mother, Lois Evelyn Meadows Lee (Mama Lois), and her brother, William (Bill) Franklin Lee, Jr. During that time she purchased a lovely house in Ashford, Alabama and lived there until having to move to Extendicare in Dothan, Alabama.
She loved cats and dogs, chocolate and trinkets. She was also a wonderful Aunt to her nieces, Melissa and Marcie.
When she would visit her nieces when they were young, she became the 3rd child and her nieces, Melissa and Marcie, adored her and fully enjoyed the time she spent playing with them.
Annajeanne had a very deep faith and was very involved in her church, Gordon Baptist Church.

We will miss her greatly but we know she is in Heaven with the rest of her family. We rest in knowing that God welcomed her home with a big “Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant!”
