Barbara Forehand Keel

Barbara Forehand Keel of Dothan passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the age of 83.

Barbara was born October 22, 1936 in Quincy, Florida to the late Kenneth R. Forehand and Mary Jenkins Forehand. She moved to Dothan during her early childhood and lived there until her death. Barbara enjoyed art and spending time with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Scott Keel (Anna) of Apalachicola, FL, Barry Keel of Tallahassee, Florida, and Alyson Mitchell (John) of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by her brother Kenneth D. Forehand of Enterprise, AL, a niece, Kelli Ishida (Mike) of Dothan, AL and a nephew, Ken Forehand, Dothan, AL. Her greatest joy was her 5 grandchildren, Owen Keel and Graye Keel of Tallahassee, FL, Banks Mitchell and Grant Mitchell of Montgomery, AL and Jane Mitchell of Huntsville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:30 Friday, one hour prior to the service.
