Barbara Meadows Williams Green, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away at her home on March 19, 2025, surrounded by family and the loving embrace of the Lord.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Billy Robinson officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00pm in the chapel.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clarence Aubrey Williams; her second husband, Joe F. Green, who she found later in life; both parents, Theron Melvin Meadows and Ruth Abbott Meadows, and sister, Norma Sue Meadows.

She is survived by her siblings, Brenda Wallace, married to Jim, James Meadows, married to Donna, and Jerry Meadows, married to Mary; her children, Rita Faircloth, married to Chris and Sherry Selman, whose husband, Bob, passed in 2020. She has 5 living grandchildren as well as 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Barbara spent many years ministering for the Lord. She enjoyed spreading the gospel through her music, with four recorded albums to her credit, as well as writing poetry, reading, and vacationing at Lake Martin with family and friends.
