Beverly Jean Dove

Ms. Beverly Jean Dove, age 60, of Chipley, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

Jean was born July 4, 1959 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Billy Joe Dove and Doris Baldridge Dove. She lived most of her life in Dothan before moving to Chipley in 1998. She was a member of St. Joseph AME Church in Chipley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Myrtle Baldridge and an uncle, Donald Baldridge.

Jean is survived by her sisters, Mary Elaine Dove, Martha Jane Dove, and Janice M. Dove, all of Chipley; her aunts, JoAnn Goldsmith of Apache Junction, AZ, Peggy Kastner of Colorado Springs, CO, and Ernestine Schonefeld of Kingsville, TX; special caregivers, Margie Brown and Fleda Brown; several cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the St. Joseph AME Church in Chipley with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
