Billie Bass Obituary
Billie Jean Bass, 74, a resident of Cordova, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was born on January 22, 1946 in Walker County, FL, to the late Gertis Henderson and Opal (Swindle) Henderson.
Graveside services will be at 3 PM, Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until service time at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
Billie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a Christian lady who looked forward to being in church. Her hobbies included fishing and going out to eat. Billie was always willing to lend a helping hand to all those in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Bass; brothers, John, Billy, and Chester Henderson; sisters, Lorene Bland, Pauline Bland, and Margaret Agnesson.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Joel) Frost; sister, Anna Geier; brother, Jimmy (Linda) Henderson; grandchildren, Amanda Lollar, Miranda (John) Leary, Jessica (Michael) Frost, and Kimberly Tatum, and eight great-grandchildren.
