Blonnie Evelyn Hasty, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Southeast Health Medical Center. She was 98.
Graveside services for Mrs. Hasty will be held at 2 PM Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Union Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Ricky Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Hasty was born July 11, 1927 in Houston County, Alabama and lived her early years in Cottonwood before moving to Dothan. She was an amazing cook, loved gardening and listening to Bluegrass music. Ms. Hasty was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hasty is preceded in death by her parents, William B. and Ressie Clemmons Ervin; husband, Luther Hasty; son, Ronnie James Hasty and two grandchildren, Craig Larry Burk and Karla Patsy Burk Hatcher.
Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Joyce Hasty Burk (Vernon Larry); grandchildren, Kimberly Joy Burk Barker (Keith), Scotty James Hasty; great grandchildren, Chastity Leann Gardner, Tara Danielle Barker, Keri Lynn Prince, Cody Lee Barker, Joshua Craig Burk, William “Billy” Hatcher, Marcus Hatcher, Clint Hatcher, Daniel Hatcher and Skyler Hasty.
