Bobby Lester Davis

On Friday January 8th 2021, Bobby Lester Davis, loving husband and devoted father passed away at the age of 62. 

Bobby was born October 1958 in Moultrie GA to Rubin Z. and Luda Mae Davis. He entered the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served 20 years. Afterwards he continuing to serve his community as an armed guard at the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Power Plant until February 2020.

Bobby had a true passion for all things outdoors. He could often be found on the golf course  or out on water fishing.  Bobby and Beth were married in 2015 and together they shared a love for traveling. They made a life together adventuring and camping at as many State and National Parks possible. Bobby was known for his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate sprite, and his love of the Marine Corp. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his sisters Mary Peacock and Cathy Mae Davis, and his late wife Bebbie Davis. 

Survived by his wife Beth Davis, son Bobby Lee Davis, Sister Judy Gillis, Sister Sherene Hammerbacher, Brother James Davis, Brother Ray Davis, and Brother Rickey Davis.

A funeral service and visitation will be held Saturday January 16th 2021 at the Ward – Wilson Funeral Home  2414 Hartford Hwy. Dothan AL 36305

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 11:00am with the Funeral service at 11:00. His military honors ceremony will be held graveside at the Christian Home Baptist Church Cemetery. 

We will observe all Covid-19 Safety guidelines.
