Brent Golden

James Brent Golden,  a resident of Dothan died unexpectedly Sunday, June 15, 2025 in Columbus, Georgia. He was 51.

Private family graveside services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Big Creek Church cemetery with Dr. Ricky Plummer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 4 PM until 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Brent was born February 22, 1974 in Dothan, Alabama to the late James Whitehurst and Chanda Jo Riley Rabon. He was a 1992 graduate of Dothan High School and started a career in the trucking business, most recently Terminal Manager for Ruan in Marianna, Florida. He also enjoyed fireworks, hunting and Alabama Football.

Brent is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Dana Golden; children, Lauren Golden and Chandler Golden (Averi); brother, Jeffrey Golden (Misty) and niece and nephews, Hunter, Wyatt and Madison.
