Charlotte Aledia (Mendheim) Adams

Charlotte Aledia Adams, age 77, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Born March 9, 1946 in Dothan to the late Ralph Eugene Mendheim and Johnnie B. Dudley Mendheim, Charlotte enjoyed travelling, Pokemon, and was an avid card player. After receiving her Master’s Degree, Charlotte spent her working career as a teacher.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley “Buck” Adams; and her sister, Gloria Mendheim.

She is survived by her children, Chanda Draughon (Daniel), Christopher Adams (LeAnn), and Ryan Adams (Sarah); her grandchildren, Chaney Adams, Kristin Adams, Tyler Whiddon, Logan Whiddon, and Rashard McKinnie; her great-grandchildren, Harper Adams, Owen Adams, and Rhett Adams; her sister, Phyllis Turner (Ronnie); her brother, Dudley Mendheim (Penny); and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Ryan Adams and Dudley Mendheim officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Church of Christ Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Christopher Adams, Ryan Adams, Tyler Whiddon, Logan Whiddon, Rashard McKinnie, and Daniel Draughon.
