Charlotte Ann Turk Davis passed away at her home in Dothan on November 8, 2023. She was surrounded by her family and friends.
Charlotte was born on August 7, 1946 in Uriah, Alabama to Eunice and Allen Turk. She was a 1964 graduate of Monroe County High School. She attended Patrick Henry Junior College where she was a member of the school choir and she enjoyed singing until her final days. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 30 years. Charlotte loved Alabama football, entertaining friends as well as puzzles. She enjoyed travelling, especially spending time at the beach but she was most passionate about her faith and her family.
She is survived by her husband, William Frank Davis. Other survivors include her children, Amy Raines Roselius, William “Bill” Davis (Tania) and Libby Brackin Sanchez (John). She is also survived by her precious sister, Alene Turk Brown. The joys of her life were her grandchildren, Frankie (Ruth Ellen) Jackson, Drew Roselius, Katherine Davis (Will) and Matthew Sanchez. Her special little blessings were her great-grandchildren, Ellis Jackson, Truitt Jackson, and Davis Merritt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as wonderful friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Eunice Turk; her brothers, J. W. and Harold Turk; and her sister, Helen Turk Jaye.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service at the church.
