Donald Andrews

Mr. Donald Andrews, age 92, of Dothan, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023.

Born August 5, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles and Dearie Stovall Andrews, Donald served his country in the United States Army and the Korean War. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and retired from the City of Detroit, working as a supervisor in Revitalization. During his spare time, he spent many hours either on the golf course or in the bowling alley.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Andrews.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sharon Chenault Andrews; his sons, Donald Frank Andrews, Henry Gregory Heard, and Reginald Heard; his daughters, Donna Jean Andrews and Sheryl Heard Boyd; two grandsons and two granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; his brother, Douglas Andrews; three nieces; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, prior to the service.

The family is accepting cards but respectfully requests that no flowers be sent.
