Mrs. Dorothy J. Hood of Dothan passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at the age of 81.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Hood will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the chapel at Harvest Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Harvest Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Troy Hood parents James Pettus and Vennie Mae Harrison, brother and sister-in-law James Kenneth Harrison (Peggy), sister Barbara Jo McGirt, brother-in-law George Graham, nephew Eddie McGirt,
Survivors include her sons Dennis Hood, Brian Hood (Christie Hardin Hood), sister Betty Ruth Graham, brother Pettus Ronald “Ronnie” Harrison (Bonnie), grandsons Zach Hood, Wesley Williams, great-grandson Kipton Chancey, nephews David, Kenny, Danny, Eric, Scott, nieces Connie, Cindy and Stacia and brother-in-law Ed McGirt.
