Dorothy Ann (Ratcliff) Johnson

Dorothy Ann Johnson, 87, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 2, 2023. She was born in Mississippi on January 31, 1936, to the late Lattie Ratcliff and Gladys (Murray) Ratcliff.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM, Monday, March 6, 2023, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home, burial to follow at Ashford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 3 PM until 5 PM,  at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

Dorothy was a Christian lady in whom loved her family dearly. Dorothy’s hobbies included gardening, sewing quilts, and fishing. She was a prayer warrior who faithfully attended Dothan Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Louie Johnson, infant sons, Michael Johnson and Ricky Johnson, sisters, Emma Jean Moore, and Lillian Ratcliff.

Survivors include her loving daughters, Debbie Johnson, Pam Johnson, and Patricia (Tim) Tolar, brother, Larry Ratcliff, grandchildren, Eric (Kristin) Tolar, and Emily Tolar, brother-in-law, Sam (Kathleen) Johnson, along with several nephews, nieces, and loving family members and friends.
