Ewell Edwin Harper, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Southeast Health Medical Center. He was 82.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Crestlawn Memorial cemetery with Pastor Debra Dale-Beyah officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Mr. Harper was born October 5, 1942 in Ashford, Alabama to the late, William Carson and Clara May Givens Harper. He was a lifelong resident of the Ashford area and worked as a Heavy Equipment operator. Mr. Harper loved being outside, hunting, fishing and watching squirrels.
Mr. Harper is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Connie D. Peters and a granddaughter, Alisia Peters.
Survivors include his sons, Ewell Harper and Clark E. Pearson and a granddaughter, Larisa Peters.
