Foy Steven Glover

After his personal affirmation, Foy Steven Glover went to be with Jesus on the afternoon of January 28, 2021.

Steve was born January 15, 1951, in Dothan, AL, to Foy and Eloise Glover. He graduated from Dothan High School in 1969 and went on to study marketing at Troy University. He and his brother Terrell joined the Army together  in 1971, where he served six years as a helicopter crew chief. While serving in the Army Reserves, he also worked at the family business, Glover Auto Parts with his father and two brothers. After years of being in the family business, he discovered his love of real estate and never looked back. He enjoyed serving in the Dothan Jail Ministry with his father and sharing his testimony. He loved developing real estate and growing Dothan, but more than that he loved spending time with his family. Spending long hours talking with his mother and time with his grandchildren were among his favorite things to do. He was a sports car enthusiast, an avid boater, an accomplished helicopter pilot, and loved working out every day at the gym. Steve had a larger-than-life personality and a smile you could never forget.

He was preceded in death by his father, Foy Percival Glover.

He is survived by his mother, Eloise Glover; his brothers, Terrell Glover and Bruce Glover; his daughters, Natalie Glover (her fiancé Jim King) and Helen Glover; his grandchildren, Ava Glover and Parker Capra; his niece, Morgan Ingle (Justin), Greenley Ingle; and his nephew, Weston Glover (Gracie). He will be missed by all his many treasured friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 31, 2021, one hour prior to the service.
