Mr. Gerald Jackson Greathouse of Dothan passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at the age of 94.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Eddie Littlefield and Reverend Thomas Harrison officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
Gerald was born December 14, 1930 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Harvey and Bir die Benefield Greathouse. He was a member of Harper’s Joy Assembly of God. Gerald and his wife Queen had a wonderful life together for 76 years.
Along with his parents , he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Charles Sensabaugh, sister-in-law, Sue Greathouse and brother, Robert Earl Greathouse.
Survivors include his wife, Queen Greathouse, daughters, Lauretta Greathouse, Ann Sensabough, brother, Leonard Greathouse, sister-in-law, Jean Greathouse, three grandchildren, Daryn Sensabaugh (Robin), Amy Sensabaugh, Chad Sensabaugh (Nikki), four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
