Gladys (Barefield) Duke

Gladys Duke, 95, a resident of Ashford, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was born in Georgia on September 21,1924 to the late J.E. Barefield and Linnie (Hill) Barefield.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday, July 28,2020 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Duke; brothers, Jimmy Barefield, and J.D. Barefield, sisters, Eloise Rogers, and Louise Barefield.

Survivors include her sisters; Carolyn Dickerson and Bobbie May as well as several nieces, nephews, and loving family members.
