Gregory Todd Gordon

Mr. Gregory Todd Gordon, age 55, of Cottonwood, Alabama went to be with the Lord Friday, March 17, 2023 at Southeast Health surrounded by his loved ones.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Ward Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 4 PM until 6 PM.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 20, 2023 with Reverend Judy Dyson and Sister Jennifer Davis officiating at Shady Grove CH Church in Pansey, Alabama.

Todd was a Union Iron Worker for several years before becoming disabled, and although unable to work, he was still a very busy man. He enjoyed his life thoroughly being a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and most certainly a grandfather. He was a person who took great joy in helping others anytime he could. He loved to make people smile and enjoyed every minute he could with his family. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Gordon; his mother, Winell Tate; his son, Gregory Gordon; and his brother Billy Harper.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tracey Gordon; his brothers, Tim (Gail) Gordon and Tony (Lisa) Gordon; his sisters, Emily (John) King, Dusty (Daniel) Starr, and Janie Harper; his sons, Jonathan Gordon, Timothy Gordon, Tyler Gordon, and Brent (Taylor) Gordon; his daughters, Kleigh Logan, Deanna Deese, and Amber Gordon; his grandchildren, Gauge Gordon, Grayson Towns, David Register, Legend Gordon, Legacy Gordon, and Gatlin Gordon.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Timothy Gordon, Mike Bradley, Tyler Gordon, Brent Gordon, Blaine Green, and Gage Leggett. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Gordon, Gauge Gordon, Grayson Towns, David Register, Legend Gordon, and Gatlin Gordon.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to Ward Wilson Funeral Home toward the funeral expenses.
