Harry Richard Davis

Harry Richard Davis was born May 19, 1936, in Brush Creek, Tennessee. He was the son of Robert Crawford Davis and Ruby Walker Davis. Harry passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama with his wife by his side. 

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Booker Davis; three sisters, Barbara Tolbert and her husband Frelin Tolbert of Murfreesboro, Tn, Sandra Cook of Milton, Tn and Elaine Collinsworth of Dothan, Al; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Harry enjoyed flying his Cessna early in life. He later spent time fishing and playing golf. He retired in 1995 from Horace Mann Insurance Co. of Springfield, Ill. whom he worked for as Vice President of Casualty Services for 22 years. Prior to Horace Mann his career was with State Farm Insurance in Bloomington, Ill. 

He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Ward-Wilson Funeral Home in Dothan, Al.
