Hattie J. (Purvis) Hamilton

Hattie Hamilton, 73, a resident of Dothan, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on January 7, 1948, in Cottonwood to the late Rupert Lloyd Purvis  and Mary Inez (Cameron) Purvis.

Funeral Service will be at 3 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. There will be a private family visitation from 2PM until service time.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Rupert Purvis and Bill Purvis, sisters, Mary Helen Jackson, and Betty Joyce Purvis.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis “Ham” Hamilton, son, Lewis M. Hamilton, sister, Jacquie (Bill) Harris, and numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends each night until Friday from 1PM until 6PM at her sister’s house: Jacquie Harris: 604 Lakewood Drive Dothan, AL. 36301.
