Heather Lynn Schroeder was born on August 16, 1970 in Bristol, Connecticut to William and Ronalee Baronian. 4 years later she welcomed her younger sister, Sheryl Manos.
At the age of 4 she moved from Connecticut with her family down to Florida to be closer to her Grandparents and enjoy the warmer climate. Growing up she spent every weekend alternating between her two sets of Grandparents. The youngest of her Mothers sisters, who was only 2 years older than her, Billie Jo, instantly became her best friend from infancy. The two became inseparable during their teenage years.
William and Ronalee instilled a deep love for spiritual truths in both of their daughters. Heather dedicated her life in service to Jehovah on July 20, 1985 by water baptism.
After graduating from high school she attended the Ferrel Academy of Cosmetology and graduated on October 29, 1987. She would go on to be a nail technician for almost 20 years. At one point she even worked alongside her mother and sister in their own nail salon, “Nails by Ronnie and Sheryl”. Heather also was called upon regularly to cut her all of her immediate family members hair.
On April 22, 1989 she married one of her best friends Jonathan Schroeder. And after almost five years of marriage she gave birth to her only child, Jacob Schroeder. Heather and Jonathan were married for 31 years, until his death on February 9, 2021, after battling cancer for several years.
Special memories of Heather include regular pioneering with her husband and son, for several years. She also helped a local need in her area. Learning American Sign Language she shared what the Bible teaches and her hope for the future, with the deaf community.
Very stylish and always dressed to the T, Heather enjoyed shopping especially for a bargain. She also had a deep love for all animals including her dogs Lexi, Emma, and Luke who she affectionately called her fur babies.
In 2010 she began a long battle with colon cancer which ultimately would claim her life on Saturday April 17, 2021. She put up a strong fight and refused to ever quit! It was her faith in Jehovah Gods future promises of perfect life in a paradise on Earth and the love of her family that continually kept her going.
She never feared death! Through her study of the Bible she knew that death was likened to just a deep sleep. And that very soon she would be brought back to a world where the words chemo, cancer, and pain were a thing of the past. When she returns, her son Jacob, father Bill, mother Ronnie, sister Sheryl, niece Sarah, and nephew Conan, along with all her other family and friends will welcome her with open arms and will never have to be parted again. Until that time she sleeps peacefully in the memory of her Heavenly Father Jehovah.
Philippians 4:13 - For all things I have the strength through the one that gives me power.
