Henry “Marty” Martin, age 70, of Dothan, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021.

Marty was born October 26, 1950 in Dothan to the late Sylvester I. Martin and Yvonne E. Givens Martin. He served his country for 10 years in the United States Army. He also worked for Dothan Power Sports for 30 years. Marty was an avid pool player and enjoyed fishing and computer games.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Buck Martin and Charles Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Martin; his sons, James (Shannon) Martin and Jeff (Carrie) Martin; his step-son, Mike (Raye) Oster; his sister-in-law, Mary Martin; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Ethan, James Paul, Ronan, Sophia, Gabreille, Joseph, Michael, and Brandon; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Marty’s life will be held at a later date.
