Homer "Jerome" Hinson

Mr. Jerome Hinson of Ashford passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at the age of 75.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2025 at the First Assembly of God Church in Ashford with Reverends Jason Tolar and Reverend Jerry Whitt officiating.

Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2025, one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Hinson was born August 5, 1950, to the late Homer Lee and Gladys Pearl Harper Hinson. He loved to fish and hunt, and would do anything to help anyone.

He was a devoted Christian man and served on the board at First Assembly Church in Ashford.

He is survived by his wife of forty nine and a half years, Rebecca Hinson, daughter, Brittney Reed (David), sisters, Teresa Turner (Robert), Deborah Tillis (Randy), brother, Ken Hinson (Dena Hand), brother-in-law, Tim Tolar (Pat), several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, Peggy Howell and uncle, Charles Ray Hinson.
