Irene Dolores Ludick, age 94, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024 in Dothan, Alabama. She was born January 23, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Vincent and Mary Polczinski.
There will be a private family memorial service held at a later date.
She is survived by sisters, Leona Polczinski and Evelyn Baber and was preceded in death by siblings Vincent N. Polczinski; Geraldine M. Markovic; Jeanette Bradley: Adeline Polczinski and Annette A. Milhouse.
She was the mother of 5 children, Gary L. [Debbie] Ludick, Linda M. [Robert] Nolan, Rickie L. Ludick, Mary Lynn [Bruce] Benson, and Robert A. Ludick. She was grandmother to five (Clint [Kim] Huff, Jennifer [Ken] Holston, Kimberly Mundell, Ryan Ludick, and Amanda Ludick) and great-grandmother to four (Madison [Chris] Williams, Audrey Huff, Sophia Huff, and Emily Mundell).
She enjoyed spending time with her sons and daughters, had a love for crafting and making quilts, working with puzzles, reading mystery novels, and was an avid football fan. She was loved by her family and her dachshunds, Augie, Munchie, and Millie.
