Iva Danica Popovic

With a heavy heart and soul, we have to inform everyone that our angel, Iva Popovic, passed away on November 8.

Iva’s bright light will continue to shine forever, for ever and ever. As her own teachers and friends would say, Iva touched so many hearts and changed their lives in a major way. Because of the impact that she made she will continue to live through them and be a part of their lives. Iva was blessed to have many good friends from Church at the Crossing, Dothan City Virtual School and ACE Cheer.

Iva was an honors student with straight A’s. She represented the students of Dothan City Virtual School at the Student Council. She also represented her school at the science fair and math competitions and tournaments. Iva was also a proud member of the Blackhawks team at the ACE Cheer.

Our smart, kind and funny girl was recognized for her accomplishments on numerous occasions. She received multiple awards and medals by Alabama state senators and congressmen.

Celebration of Life service for Iva will be held on Saturday, November 15th, at 1 PM at Windmill Station in Dothan Alabama through Church at the Crossing.

Just as light cannot be destroyed no matter what, Iva lives forever and we will always love her.
