James Hugh “Peanut” Williams, age 80, of Dothan passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his home.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5 PM until 6:30 PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service following at 7 PM with Larry Sawyers officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow the memorial service.

James Hugh loved fishing, working in his yard and spending time with his family.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nancy Schulman Williams; his brother, Sonny Williams; and a son, Paul Williams.

Survivors include his son, Daniel (Connie) Williams; his daughter, Paula (John) Brabham; his companion, Judy Joyner; his brother, Jerry (Wanda) Williams; his grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Jones, Brianna (Josh) Etress, Madison (Blakely) Williams, Anslee (Austin) Harvill, Sarah Williams, Cassidy Potter, and Dallas Potter; his eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
