Mr. James Paul “Jimmy” Johnson of Dothan passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the age of 67.

Jimmy was a member of the Dothan Elks Club. He had worked as a construction scheduler all over the country, and after his retirement, he returned to Dothan, which he called home. He loved Alabama football and cherished the friendships that he had with all of his friends. He also enjoyed the reunions with his classmates of Dothan High School, class of 1971.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Olaf Marinus Johnson, Jr. and Marie Claire Lucienne Johnson, sister, Michele Johnson Prockup, and nephew, Ben Prockup.

Survivors include sisters and brother, Jacqueline Causey (Trey), Elizabeth Johnson, Michael Johnson, Amy Malecki, and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Johnson will be held at a later date.
