Janet (Rye) Goodrich

Janet (Rye) Tingdale Goodrich age 96 of Dothan Al died 19 April 2020 at Wesley Place in Dothan Alabama.  She was born March 21,1924 in Minneapolis, Mn, daughter of James A. Rye and Esther V. Picken.

She is predeceased by her parents, three brothers Stanley, Floyd, and Jim Rye, her first husband,Donald M. Tingdale, grandson, Travis Tingdale, her second husband, John W. Goodrich and her son, Thomas S Tingdale.

Mrs Goodrich was a 1944 graduate of Bethel Junior College, St Paul. Mn and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the U. of MN School or Nursing.  She was a registered nurse and a licensed practical nurse.  Her interest were genealogy, gardening, and reading.

She is survived by one son Ted Tingdale, daughter-in-law Teri Tingdale, Granddaughters, Traci Couch, Ashley Barnett (Marcus), Whitney Hockenbrough (Jered); granddaughter-in-law, Holly Tingdale; six great-grandchildren,Hannah and Reagan Frandy, Gwynah Tingdale, Rachel and Alex Barnett, Juliette Couch; Two Nephews Dr. D Gordon Rye, and George Rye; Niece, Linda Rye; Sister-in-law Nevada Rye and two dear life-long friends, Mary Jane Boran and Flora Rutledge.
