Jenny (Martin) Brown

Ms. Jenny Martin Brown was born August 17, 1951 in Dothan, Alabama. A lifetime Dothan resident, Ms. Brown graduated from Dothan High School and attended Wallace College. Jenny was mother to two children: Hannah and Phillip. She adored them. A devout Christian and career public servant for the Alabama Department of Human Resources, she was always kind, thoughtful, and generous to those in need. Jenny loved nature. She enjoyed bird watching, road trips to Florida’s emerald coast, and observing—sometimes even interacting with—cattle grazing in her backyard. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she loved singing Christmas carols at family holiday gatherings. She will be missed. Jenny was preceded in death by her daughter Hannah and father Ralph Martin. She is survived by her mother Martha, brother Mike, sisters Martha Sue, Laura, and Katrina, son Phillip, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jenny was laid to rest on May 7, 2021.
