Jerry Lee Meacham

Jerry Lee Meacham, 79, passed onto Heaven, Tuesday, October 10, 2023. He was born on September 17, 1944 in Alturas, Florida to Robbie Thomas and Reba Louise Cook Meacham.

Funeral Service will be 2:30 PM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Hamilton officiating. Burial to follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Jerry Was a lifetime follower of Christ. He Was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dewey Meacham; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Nellie Wetherington; and a grandson, Joshua McNelley.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Meacham; daughters and sons-in-law Chari and Terry McNelley and Amy and Doug Shumate; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessica McNelley, Justin and Tiffany McNelley, Joshua and Olympia Shumate, Mary Hannah Shumate, and Matthew Shumate; great-grandchildren, Nickolas York, Morgan, Brooklyn, Piersleigh, and Oliver McNelley; a brother, Ricky Meacham of Ft Meade, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Jonathan McNelley, Justin McNelley, Joshua Shumate, Mary Hannah Shumate, Matthew Shumate and Nickolas York .
