Obituary
Mrs. Jewel F. Steele Butler of Cottonwood passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the age of 97.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Robert Steele, parents Walter and Lonie Johnson, five sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her sons Robert Steele (Phyllis), Franky Steele (Cheryl), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special family friend Shelby Womack.
Pallbearers will be Robert Steele, William Robert Steele, Brennen Patterson, Travis Johnson, Dale Daniels and Jonah Patterson.
