Jimmy Howard Rosser, a resident of Orange Park, Florida, passed away on July 11, 2026. Jim was 76 years old.
He was born in Dothan, Alabama on August 16, 1949. He attended Dothan Schoolsand graduated from Dothan High School in 1969. He was employed by Wilbro’s for a time and was transferred to their store in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. After Wilbro’s closed, Jim went to work for Walmart in Ft. Walton Beach in 1991. He retired from Walmart after 24 years.
In 2022, he moved to Orange Beach, Florida, to be near his sister, Mary and her family. Jim loved the Atlanta Braves, the San Francisco Giants, and the Auburn Tigers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Evelyn Howard Rosser of Dothan, Alabama.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Vinson, and husband, Joe Vinson of Orange Park, Florida, his nephew, Joe H. Vinson of Orange Park, Florida, his niece, Emily Vinson, and her husband, Stephen Farnsworth of Durham, North Carolina, grand-nieces, Bailey Landis and Breylin Vinson of Orange Park, Florida, Allison Farnworth of Durham, North Carolina, and grand-nephew, Matthew Farnworth of Durham, North Carolina.
There will be a family service on July 17 at Memory Hill Cemetery.
