Jo Lynn (Butler) Roberson

Jo Lynn Roberson, 81, a resident of Midland City, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born in Texas on March 2, 1939 to the late Leonard Butler and Marie (Polk) Butler.

A graveside service will take place 2 PM, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

Jo Lynn was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who genuinely cared deeply for her family.  Jo Lynn retired after 25 plus years of Civil Service work at Fort Rucker. She enjoyed reading, going to the beach, watching, and attending ice skating events. Jo Lynn was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Bryan Carlile and Bernard Roberson.

Survivors include her son, Bryan (Suzi) Carlile, brother, Leonard Butler, sister, Marie (Jim) Brand, grandchildren, Tiffany Hartzog, Brandon Carlile, and Broxton Carlile, great-grandchildren, Ayden Grace Bradshaw, and John Mark Bradshaw.
